Dana + Ben’s Toronto Engagement was definitely a favourite from this season. When it comes to engagement sessions, I always encourage my couples to choose something they like to do together and a location that holds special meaning to them. I describe our session together as a relaxed date night (plus me and my camera). Really though, it’s about the three of us getting to know each other better before the big day and for the bride and groom-to-be, to get comfortable in front of my camera. D+B’s session covered all of this and more. We met at their gorgeous Toronto Lakeshore condo on the most perfect end of summer evening. I love sessions that start out at home, where everyone is most relaxed and feeling at ease with no onlookers.
After a drink, we headed out to a few of their favourite spots on Queen Street West. I really miss living in the city, and so I love when I have the opportunity to visit some old favourites and discover new ones with my couples. These two obviously have impeccable taste, and I now have a list of a spots I must return to. Thanks guys! After exploring for a bit, we made our way to our final destination, the Bathurst Street Bridge.
I could have honestly shot these two for another hour. As a real couple, they fit together perfectly. As a couple being photographed, they fall into each other so naturally creating these adorable and sincere moments that Pinterest Brides will surely be pinning. Dana and Ben, thanks so much for having me into your beautiful home and introducing me to your favourite Toronto neighbourhood spots. I can’t wait for your Toronto Wedding next fall!
