I fell in love with Ashlea the moment I spoke with her over the phone. She is fun and creative while also being extremely professional. My husband and I have never had professional photos taken and Ashlea made it feel so natural, we were very comfortable with her. We don’t have enough great things to say about Ashlea! We loved her as soon as we met her & she exceeded all of our expectations. From our initial meeting, Ashlea helped us lay out a timeline that we ended up using for our actual day! We did an engagement shoot with her which allowed us to get to know each other, and she was incredibly flexible with incorporating our schedules and requests. She was also great with providing suggestion for locations. Our wedding day was entirely chaotic, with constantly changing weather and a tornado warning (and out of nowhere downpour!) five minutes before the ceremony. Through it all, Ashlea was cool as a cucumber and captured some amazing moments. She made our wedding look like the stunning dream day we had hoped and planned for despite it feeling like a mess at the time. We love her so much and you are very lucky if she’s available for your wedding!

Ashlea was amazing from start to finish. She did both our engagement and wedding photos, and we were thrilled with both. She always made us feel comfortable, and somehow managed to get two people who hate getting photographed, feel relaxed and look amazing. She was also really helpful during the planning stages of our wedding, giving us useful advice about the flow of the day and helping us work through our itinerary. On our wedding she and her assistant Karina made everything flow smoothly, and all of our guests were impressed with them. Thanks to them, we have so many beautiful photos of our wedding – we are having a hard time choosing which ones to print!

COUPLES SESSIONS

Celebrating an engagement, an anniversary, or want some stunning photos “just because”? Whatever your reason (or no reason at all!), I’d love to capture this special time for you. Sessions can take place somewhere meaningful to you or doing something you enjoy. Let’s create some magic that’s all about you two. Sessions are typically booked two hours before sunset, last 60-minutes, and include 50 images.

I’m based in Pickering, 20 minutes East of Toronto, and will happily travel for weddings and elopements! There is no travel fee for locations within 45 KM of my studio address. A minimal travel fee may apply for locations beyond. Please reach out for a custom quote!

Absolutely! I’m happy to help with your timeline, and any recommendations you would like along the way. I want to ensure your day runs smooth and as stress free as possible. We can chat about the ideal time of day for your outdoor ceremony, and when and where portraits can take place. I can also recommend trusted vendors local to your venue that will compliment your individual needs and aesthetic.

Yes, sometimes. A second photographer can be added for partial or full day. Including a second photographer adds different perspectives to your gallery and covers things the primary is unable to. For example, cocktail hour during your portraits and getting ready coverage of your partner when you’re in different locations.

You can expect approximately 50-75 photos delivered per hour of coverage.

Wedding galleries are within delivered 7 weeks. Couples sessions and all other galleries are delivered 4 weeks from the session date. Your final edited jpg images will be delivered in a beautiful online gallery with one year access from the delivery date. From your gallery, you can download and share all of your images. You can also order products and prints, design and fully customize thank you cards and albums. You are not obligated to order through your gallery, but I can guarantee the very best quality through my professional lab.

Yes, we have commercial general liability coverage and all of our equipment is covered. If your venue requires proof of insurance, please let me know and I can provide a certificate.

When you’re ready to book, a $1000 non-refundable retainer is collected along with a signed contract to secure your wedding date. Payment options include E-transfer or major credit card. The balance of payment is due 30 days before your wedding date.
