It’s not common for me to take on a wedding client without also shooting their engagement session. The engagement session is where I really get to know my couples and of course it allows a good test run in front of my camera before the big day. As I got to know Alyssa through email and our in person consultation my nerves settled and I knew we were a good match. The chemistry between these two is so genuine and natural, and so when it came time for their portraits it was pretty easy to capture them being real with each other.
Alyssa and her girls got ready at her Aunt’s adorable Victorian style Bed & Breakfast. When I stepped into the B&B on the morning of A&J’s wedding day there was a total sense of calm. I am use to stumbling into just a tiny bit of chaos. Alyssa and her girls where relaxed, hair and make-up complete, and ready to step into their dresses. The mood was set for the day and for the first time in a long time it was me doing the hustling! Everything flowed so perfectly throughout the day and you could feel that everyone was in the moment. Alyssa and Jon your Parkwood wedding was absolutely beautiful. I wish you all the best in your new life together as husband and wife. xo
